Management Team
The management team is jointly led by the President /COO and the CEO. Under them is Executive Director, Vice-President Finance & Operations, Director of Communications and Marketing, Manager of Accounting and accounting staff.
From offices in Iqaluit, Ottawa and Yellowknife, Nunasi manages several wholly owned subsidiaries and is involved in a large number of strategic partnerships and joint ventures. These enterprises cover a very wide variety of business ventures including retail, transportation, manufacturing, insurance, travel, education, multimedia, fuel distribution, digital communications, medical boarding facilities, contracting and real estate.

The CEO and Director of Communications and Marketing are based in the Iqaluit Head Office. The Executive Director is based in Ottawa and the remaining staff are located in the Corporate Office in Yellowknife.
Tim ZehrPresident / Chief Operating Officer
This position is responsible for leading and directing the efforts of Nunasi Corporation to acquire, develop and expand to its full potential. The President/COO directs and coordinates activities of the organization in accordance with identified mission statement and corporate goals to obtain efficiency, economy of operations and profits. Working closely with the CEO, Nunasi Vice-Presidents, and the General Managers and Presidents of Nunasi's interests, the President/COO is primarily responsible for carrying out the strategic plans and policies as established by the Board of Directors. The President/COO is responsible for leading and managing the Nunasi Corporate Office. The President/COO provides a visible and effective presence for the Corporation by carrying out extensive liaison with relevant individuals and organizations, advancing Nunasi interests, and identifying potential opportunities for improvement, growth and investment.
Malaya RheaumeExecutive Director
Reporting directly to the President/COO, provide support to the President/COO and management team. The Executive Director manages the organizational and Board policies. The Executive Director assist managers of the subsidiary businesses with NNI and NTI registration and renewals, assist in the development and implement of business plans, strategic plans and budgets. The Executive Director also liaise with Inuit organizations, government, and subsidiaries to promote and achieve Nunasi's operational objectives. The Executive Director also serves as a Corporate Secretary for a number of Nunasi subsidiaries.
Cathy Munro, CAVice President Finance and Operations
The V.P. Finance & Operations provides operational leadership in support of managing Nunasi Corporation resources – financial, human, and assets. The VP Finance & Operations is accountable for the effective and efficient operations related to financial planning, financial operations, risk management, human resource planning and management, as well as facility and system planning and management. The VP Finance & Operations provides analysis and recommendations to the President/COO for strategic direction of fiscal policy matters to maintain and enhance the financial health of the Nunasi Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Continuous quality improvement is a major objective for the VP Finance & Operations position.
Franco BuscemiDirector, Communications and Marketing
Under the direction of the COO, the Communications and Marketing Director is responsible for the overall development and implementation of Nunasi Corporation’s communications and marketing strategies and implementation plans. The incumbent coordinates and manages the development, production and distribution of Nunasi communications materials, initiatives and events. The Communications and Marketing Director provides consultation and advice and assists Nunasi Subsidiaries with reference to their communications and marketing needs and strategies.
Renee JonesManager of Accounting
This position reports to Nunasi’s V.P. Finance & Operations. This position is responsible for all aspects of the accounting and bookkeeping for the Nunasi Corporate Office as well as numerous Nunasi Corporation affiliates and subsidiaries. Responsibilities include managing the accounting operations; managing staff and human resources functions; managing the planning and business development functions in conjunction with Nunasi’s V.P. Finance & Operations, managing systems and advising client companies on any and all aspects of effective operations. The position plays a critical and sensitive role and has to balance quality control and support functions in most aspects of the job.
