Arctic Spirit
Arctic Spirit is a full service promotional products company. Arctic Spirit Promotions offers a complete line of corporate promotional garments including direct logo embroidery service using on-site state of the art embroidery machines. In addition, Arctic Spirit has a virtually unlimited inventory of promotional items that can bear a business logo.
Nunasi Helicopters
In collaboration with Canadian Helicopters, Nunasi Helicopters offers charter helicopter services to the mining, oil & gas exploration, land survey and wildlife studies sectors, in the Kitikmeot and Kivalliq regions of Nunavut.
Nuna Logistics
Nuna Logistics was established in 1993 to provide logistical, construction and mining services to Canada’s northern mining industry; utilizing the knowledge and expertise of its management team and Inuit partners, familiar with arctic operations. Services offered: pre-strip and open pit mining; site and exploration services; infrastructure planning and development; dam, frozen core dam, dike, runway and all-weather road construction; earthworks and crushing services; winter/ice road construction, maintenance and dispatching services; and heavy equipment simulator training.
Nunasi Corporation and Kitikmeot Corporation own 51% in partnership with Nuna Logistics Management Group who own 49%.
Polar Vision
Polar Vision Centres Ltd. operates two dispensaries: Polar Vision in Yellowknife, NT and Baffin Optical dispensary in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The Company provides frames, prescription glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses to the Baffin, Kivalliq and Kitikmeot regions of Nunavut as well as Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories.

Malca-Amit NWT Ltd.
Malca-Amit provides secure international courier service, specialized transportation, logistics, local armored car and airfreight services. SecureCheck owns 51% of Malca-Amit NWT in partnership with Malca-Amit New York Inc. who owns 49%.

Genesis Group
Provides education and human resource consulting services across the NWT and Nunavut. They operate a state of the art conference and training centre in their Yellowknife location. Genesis Group also does web development and graphic design.
Nunavut Petroleum Corporation
Nunavut Petroleum Corporation is a Joint Venture Agreement between Nunasi Corporation and Qikiqtaaluk Corporation. Nunasi owns 51% of NPC, Qikiqtaaluk Corporation owns 49%.
Uqsuq Corporation
Uqsuq Corporation is a joint venture company between Nunavut Petroleum Corporation and ATCO Frontec that operates under a Government of Nunavut contract to lease and operate the bulk fuel storage facility and pipeline distribution system in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
Larga Baffin
This company has a residence in Ottawa, Ontario which provides a safe and comfortable home like atmosphere for Inuit travelling from the Baffin region of Nunavut for medical services. Larga Baffin also coordinates all local transportation and return travel. Nunasi owns 50% of Larga Baffin in a joint venture with Qikiqtaaluk Corporation who owns the other 50%.
Larga Kivalliq / Kivalliq Development Corporation
Larga Kivalliq is a joint venture with Sakku Investments, it owns 51% of Kivalliq Development Corporation in partnership with Aurora Ice Ltd. and Mac Holdings Inc. who owns 49%. Kivalliq Development operates the Kivalliq Inuit Centre boarding home in Winnipeg which provides medical boarding facilities for up to 80 patients from the Kivalliq Region in Nunavut.
Larga Ltd.
Larga Ltd. is a Nunasi/Kitikmeot Corporation/Gwich'in Development Corporation joint venture. Larga operates a medical boarding home providing accommodation, translation, and transportation in Edmonton for patients travelling out of the Mackenzie and Kitikmeot regions. Nunasi owns 37.5% of Larga Ltd. in partnership with the Gwich'in Development Corporation who also own 37.5% and the Kitikmeot Corporation who owns 25%.

Larga Kitikmeot is a residence in Yellowknife, NT which provides a safe and comfortable home like atmosphere for Inuit travelling from the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut for medical services. Larga Kitikmeot is owned equally by Nunasi Corporation and Kitikmeot Corporation.
Kitnuna Corporation
Kitnuna Corporation is a 50/50 joint venture between Kitikmeot Corporation and Nunasi Corporation. Kitnuna engages in fuel distribution, expediting, maintenance contracts, environmental clean up, and winter road construction. Kitnuna companies include: Kitnuna Expediting Services, Kitnuna Projects, Kitnuna Petroleum and Kitnuna Pharmacy.

Kitnuna Petroleum Ltd. provides fuel storage and distribution services for the community of Cambridge Bay.

Kitnuna Pharmacy is a joint venture between Kitnuna Corporation and Super Thrifty Pharmacy. Kitnuna Pharmacy provides retail and prescription services to the Kitikmeot Region.
Numac Development Ltd.
Numac Development Ltd. is a joint venture between Nunasi and TC Enterprises. Numac owns the Bartesko Apartment Building in Yellowknife, NT. Nunasi owns 50% of Numac with TC Enterprises who also owns 50%.
Top Of The World Travel
A full service travel and tour agency with offices in Yellowknife, NT and Iqaluit, NU. Top of the World has a Northern Tours division that promotes inbound travel to the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Nunasi owns 30.5% of Top of the World travel in partnerships with Kitikmeot Corporation and several individuals.
Frobuild (2006) Ltd.
Frobuild (2006) Ltd. is a joint venture between Nunasi and Qikiqtaaluk Corporation. Frobuild (2006) Ltd. is a hardware supplier and building materials supplier with a lumber yard in Iqaluit and a packaging and marshalling connections in Valleyfield, Quebec during the sealift season. Frobuild has a strong reputation for supplying goods to Nunavut with many years of experience. As we are in the restructuring phase we are planning to serve our customers better, in the near future by being able to offer better service and faster turnaround on orders. We will also be offering a wider selection of goods for both our contractors and the regular everyday fixer upper.
Northern Aboriginal Services Company (NASCO)
Nunasi Corporation has a 25% interest in NASCO. Ownership is shared with the Denendeh Development Corporation, Yukon Indian Development Corporation and Inuvialuit Development Corporation. NASCO is in turn a 33.3% owner of Ardicom Digital Communications Inc.
The Corporation provides facilities management services to NorthwesTel through the NASCO-Frontec joint venture. This joint venture has a contract to provide maintenance at 160 remote microwave sites across the North.
Ardicom
NASCO partnered with NorthwesTel and Arctic Cooperatives to form Ardicom Digital Communications Inc. with each partner owning 33.3% of the company. Ardicom Digital comminciations is contracted by the Governments of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut and others to operate a digital wide area network (WAN) to serve 58 communities across the North and to provide similar services to other pan-northern customers.
NCC Investment Group Inc.
The NCC Investment Group Inc. is a holding company for NCC Development and NCC Properties. This Company has a contract with the federal government to develop, own and lease the federal government infrastructure requirements in the Nunavut territory. Nunasi with Sakku Investment Corporation, Kitikmeot Corporation and Qikiqtaaluk Corporation each own 25% of NCC Investment Group Inc.
Pan Arctic Inuit Logistics (PAIL)
PAIL is a 100% Inuit owned Corporation. Nunasi Corporation has a 15% interest in PAIL. Ownership is shared with Qikiqtaaluk Corporation; Sakku Investments Corporation; Kitikmeot Corporation; the Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC); Makivik Corporation; and, the Labrador Inuit Development Corporation (LIDC). PAIL and ATCO Frontec Corporation have a 50/50 Joint Venture to operate and maintain the North Warning System through their agent, Nasittuq Corporation.
Nasittuq Corporation
Nasittuq is a Canadian intercultural enterprise, which was created as an agent for the joint venture between Pan Arctic Inuit Logistics (PAIL) and ATCO Frontec Corporation. The PAIL/ATCO Frontec joint venture and Nasittuq have a contract with the Government of Canada to operate and maintain the North Warning System (NWS) in Canada on behalf of hte Department of National Defense (DND) and the U.S. Air Force.
Nunavut Insurance Brokers
Nunavut Insurance Brokers (NIB) is an insurance broker providing home, auto, business, and life insurance benefits. For businesses NIB offers property, liability, bonding, group insurance, and directors & officers, errors & omissions (E&O) insurance. NIB has offices in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Winnipeg. Nunasi hold its ownership in NIB via 6130518 Canada Corporation. Nunasi, Kitikmeot Corporation and Sakky Investments equally owns 60% of Nunavut Insurance Brokers in partnership with Leipsic Insurance who owns 40%.
Ryfan Nunavut
Ryfan Nunavut Inc. is able to provide a broad range of services: from estimating, project management, material management/procurement and expediting services; we are ready to support Northern operations. We have a long and well recognized history, in our family of companies, of providing superior industrial mechanical and electrical services.
Through our strategic alliances with Nexum Systems Inc., NCV Industrial Inc., Ryfan Electric Inc., Ryfan Wind Inc. and CME North Inc., Ryfan Nunavut Inc. is able to bring strength, resources and capacity of all of the companies to projects in undertakes. Ryfan Nunavut Inc. will also supply, install and maintain electronic surveillance, structured wiring communication systems, telecommunication exchanges/centres and telecommunication equipment. We supply and install environmental power solutions including wind turbines, wind farms and Diesel Power Plants. Services can include a maintenance program with factory trained field staff to maintain these systems for the clients.
M&T Enterprises Ltd.
This company is a Rankin Inlet based company offering freight and delivery, fuel delivery, household moving, expediting and ground transportation, and construction services. M&T Enterprises is equally owned by Peter Tatty, Nunasi Corporation and Sakku Investment Corporation.
IEG Nunasi Consultants Ltd.
Offers engineering and environmental services in northern Canada. It is a joint venture between Nunasi Corporation and Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. The new company brings together Nunasi's local operating experience, with KCBL's international reputation. Both partners see the resurgence of mining in Nunavut and the commitment in Nunavut to remediate and reclaim contaminated sites, as an opportunity to provide a high standard of engineering design and environmental management services. Success of the new venture will benefit Nunavummiut through local projects, and opportunities for employment and skills transfer.
NorTerra Inc.
NorTerra is owned equally by Nunasi Corporation and Inuvialuit Development Corporation. NorTerra is a private, investment-focused management and holding company. The NorTerra group of companies includes Canadian North, Northern Transportation Company Limited (NTCL), Northern Industrial Sales, Braden-Burry Expediting (BBE) and the Weldco Companies.
Canadian North
Operating a fleet of Boeing 737-200 combi and Dash 8 aircraft, Canadian North provides scheduled and charter jet service for passengers and cargo through the North. Canadian North provides mainline services to and from Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay in Nunavut; Inuvik, Norman Wells, Hay River and Yellowknife in the NWT; Ottawa, Ontario: and Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta. NorTerra owns 100% of Candian North.
Northern Transportation Company Limited (NTCL)
NTCL is a major pan-arctic marine operator offering dry cargo and fuel delivery services from Vancouver, British Columbia in Western Canada, Montreal, Quebec in Eastern Canada, Hay River, Northwest Territories and Churchill, Manitoba in Central Canada and overseas to anywhere in Northern Canada. It is the principal transportation link for the movement of bulk petroleum products and dry cargo to many communities, oil and gas exploration sites, mining projects and defense installations across Canada's North. From its base in Halifax, Nova Scotia, three Arctic Class II supply vessels provide marine support services to Canada's East Coast offshore petroleum industry and to petroleum exploration projects in the Arctic. NorTerra owns 100% of NTCL.
Northern Industrial Sales
Northern Industrial Sales serves its customers in the mining, forestry, oil and gas, industrial, government and community business sectors by supplying a diverse range of industrial products. Prompt, professional service infused with local knowledge is offered in every one if its fourteen branches located in the Northwest Territories (4), Yukon (3), British Columbia (5) and Alberta (2). NorTerra owns 100% of Northern Industrial Sales.
Braden Burry Expediting
BBE provides expediting and project logistics services to companies in the mining, oil and gas and natural resources sectors through Yellowknife, Fort Simpson, Norman Wells, and Inuvik, Northwest Territories; Baker Lake and Iqaluit, Nunavut; Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba and, Ottawa, Ontario. In addition to its core logistics services, BBE provides complementary services including supply chain management, freight consolidation, freight forwarding, purchasing and procurement, customs clearance, aircraft ground handling, passenger and baggage handling, warehouse and storage services. NorTerra owns 100% of BBE.
Weldco Companies
Weldco Companies is comprised of three business units: Weldco-Beales Manufacturing, Weldco Hydra-Lift and Weldco Heavy Industries. Weldco-Beales Manufacturing has operations in Edmonton, Alberta; Langley, British Columbia; Barrie, Ontario; and, Tacoma, Washington that design and manufacture heavy equipment attachments for excavators, crawler dozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, and large trucks. Weldco Hydra -Lift, located in Edmonton, designs and manufactures truck mounted telescopic cranes ranging from 8-ton to 50-ton capacities. Weldco Heavy Industries operates from a newly constructed facility located in the heart of the Alberta oil sands and specializes in large steel fabrication and repair related to the mining industry. NorTerra owns 100% of Weldco Companies.
