Casey Adlem

 

Casey is President of Larga Kitikmeot in Yellowknife and Larga Ltd. in Edmonton. She lives in Taloyoak, Nunavut and is very proud of her Netsilingmiut language and culture. Casey’s first experience at a medical boarding home was as a kitchen helper at the Lena Pedersen Boarding Home in the 1980s. Her vision for the Larga group is to serve as the link between access to medical care and services that are grounded in Inuit culture. Casey is dedicated to finding ways to create strategic partnerships and showcase Inuit communities in her region and to empower Inuit to be active in their health journey. She has a strong belief in creating an atmosphere that is caring and supportive for all staff and the people they serve.
